This is more of what you are looking for- pose wise. THe camera here is focused on the white behind him, but it's enough for critique-ing.

Personally, I do not like the crown. I'm used to it being a tad more forward and on top of his head, but it's certainly not shabby- both of my bucks match this for crown. Ears look awesome, nice, wide, and not over length. How is the thickness of the ears? You want a well furred ear. that you can't tell from the picture. His coat looks rough, might want to wait until he blows his coat before showing him again.

Hi, I just bought two french lops and cant post this as a new topic. The breeder was very shady and it really became a rescue operation for me. i noticed on each bunny one ear is completely lying on the other side of their head. These bunnies are only five weeks old. Is this a slipped crown, a medical condition or will it remedy itself?

If you upload the photos to Photobucket and copy the link, then the pic will show up. As far as posting a new thread, the button, I believe, is either in the top right or left corner when you're in a message board.

Can you elaborate further on what you mean by the ear lying on the other side? Some ears will flop over to the other side in lops and that's just how they are carried. Far from abuse. ;) Did you make the breeder let you take the kits at 5 weeks since you thought you were rescuing them, or did she sell them at that age?

Hi

I don't have photobucket. Thanks for the tip though. I'll look into it. The photo is in my gallery. If you look at the bunnies from the right you see one normal ear and then the left ear folded over to the right side.
He was selling them at 32 days.
No the ear is not abuse but filthy water, moldy several day old veggies, four huge roosters living in a dirt lot with them and discussing how his dog just ate one of his momma rabbits is :)

The gallery is public to everyone who uploads a photo - you don't have your own, therefore we'd have to search to find it. ;) A photobucket account is free to get though.

From the way you describe the ears, it sounds just like they're laid over/flopped over the bunnies' head, but pictures will be helpful to prove exactly what it could be. ;)

That breeder doesn't sound good at all. :(
