Yeppers!!!
I give the Old Fashoined Quaker Oats to the buns as a daily treat.
The instant kind is bit of a finer consistancy ....made that way to cook faster.

They freeze really well. I used to make a double batch and the split them up into portions with enough for 8 buns each.

I just made mine, they are sitting in the ovenfor the hour. They smell really good. I'll let youknow how my babies like them.
