He is hospitalized at my vet right now with a severe case of wry neck. Please keep him in your thoughts:( im worried that he is missing the two buddies he is bonded to and im also worried when he recovers they will accept him. :(

Oh dear, I'm so sorry to hear about Cotton. I've dealt with headtilt and it's not a fun experience. I"ll defnitely be praying for you and your bunnies.
Do they know what is causing the head tilt? When did he first show signs?

Lindsey, know what you are going through.

Cotton is in my thoughts. Plesae keep us updated.

K:(

Thanks everyone! I just visited him and brought some kale. He cant stand but went crazy for it! Its hopefully a good sign that he is eating.

Very good sign, Lindsey. When Neville had it, he never stopped eating. First day or two, he could barely get up, stayed in his litter box and just ate hay. Kept him well supplied. Cheered him every time I heard him crunching.

Thanks for the update.

Cotton is in my thoughts. Hoping he's home with you soon.

Thanks everyone! Here is a photo I took with my cell phone when I visited him. He was so excited over the Kale.

Thanks for sharing the pic. Poor baby, Truly glad he is enjoying his kale.

Can't wait to see him up and about.

Keeping Cotton in my thoughts.

Thanks everyone. He came home yesterday, he still cannot stand. :( He is eating well and I started him on ivermectin yesterday as well. The vet also gave him a steroid shot yesterday. I hope he pulls through. He such a beautiful little rabbit. :(

Glad to hear he's home. Excellent to hear he's still eating.

Thoughts from ZRabbits! Please keep us informed.

It can be a long haul if they think it is EC, which it sounds like it. Hang in there.

I'm treating my Becky right now for the same thing. It's two hopps forward and one hop back. It has been three weeks of treatment and she's just now starting to get feisty not wanting her medicine and starting to come out to visit us in the living room (their bedroom is right next door in my office).

I think in many ways it is harder on us caretakers than it is on the buns themselves. Give Cotton a kiss from me and a nose bonk from Becky.

Thanks everyone!

Ya sounds like E.C. You should talk to the vet about panacur

I talked to the vet who unfortunately just said she has never heard of that working with wry neck. She is going to give me some though. Should i discontinue the medication they originally gave me and do the panacur instead?

We have Cotton in our thoughts
And we are wishing a speedy recovery
Dilly said that she is thinking of Cotton too
