Hershey seems to be shedding constantly! And not just a little bit either! I pluck and Furminate tons of hair and can start all over the next day! It's not a huge problem because he likes me combing him. He cuddles up in my arms and purrs the whole time, sometimes even licking me back! An I must say I enjoy having him cuddle up and be so happy!
I read somewhere fur mites can cause excessive shedding. I have seen a few spots of "danderuff" when I look down deep in his fur. Is that definitly fur mites or can "danderuff" be something else too?
I also read somewhere that sometimes rabbits can accidently be bred to shed continually. It happens when they are being bred for other charateristics. That would make sense for a Dutch boy too!
BTW, Hershey is 1.5 years old. I've had him since he was 2 mos. He was neutered at about 6 mo. This is not something new.
