Okay so here is my problem. When I purchased Leo he was 8 weeks old and completely white. His eyes looked blue so the we (the seller and I) thought he was a BEW. Now he is almost 4 months old and his eyes have turned to a brown color and he is getting some gray coloring around his eyes. Can anyone tell me what color he is?????? Because I am pretty sure he is not a BEW afterall :p

Please ignore the hay in his fur, this picture was taken during an "exercise" time outside.

Wow, your lop is adorable!!

Okay I get to play foolish here. What is a frosted point and can you breed him with a pointed white (black himi although they aren't called himi's in lionheads) :?

By the way...i meant gray coloring around his EARS not eyes....boy has it been a wierd day.:biggrin2:

Lol, thanks but its a pic of a random rabbit I found on google :p

I found this

The FROSTED PEARL, Here is a very interesting Agouti color. The Frosted Pearl is a Red Family Agouti with a Shaded Gene or a Red Family Chinchilla. In England this color is often called a Chinchilla Tortoise or an Iron Gray. It is a rabbit whose coat
color has been modified from a Chestnut Agouti. First by the Red Gene which did the
best it could to block all black pigment from the coat. Second by the Shaded gene which worked to block all remaining deeper tones of brown from the coat. Leaving a very pale rabbit with lacing and a small amount of point color (since these are the areas where both the Red and Shaded Genes seem to have the most trouble controlling color). Most
Frosted Pearls are born very white and may stay lighter on the body until with age they develop more and more ticking across the top of the body

Does anyone know if there is a chart giving you a list of lionhead colors that should be bread to others. I have a color breeding chart for my mini rex and netherland dwarf rabbits, but have found no guidlines for lionheads.....?
