So back in April of this year my english lop rabbit, Ripley, started having problems with severe vasculitis in her ears. Here is the thread in the forums for some history:

Well, I have been able to keep it pretty much under control using Metacam (anti-inflammatory/pain medication) and children's benadryl. However, her poor ears have never completely returned to normal and just this past week had a small flare up.

Today I brought her back into her vet to have her treatment regimen reevaluated. She goes to the Avian and Exotic Animal Medical Center in Kirkland, WA:

Her vet, Dr. Johnson-Delaney just got a new cold laser therapy unit this past week. I was really excited to hear this because I have heard great things about it from the veterinary community. Ripley got her first treatment session today, and is scheduled for another one on this coming Wednesday.

Cold laser therapy works to promote healing at the cellular level:

I am really crossing my fingers because nothing else so far has fixed her poor ears. I will keep updating as Ripley has her treatments. I figure that if it works, it might help someone else out in a similar situation.

Always interested to hear of new options that might provide treatment where none currently exists or what is available isn't sufficient.
