Susan,

I'm just now seeing this.

You and Chris are in my thoughts and prayers.

I had half of my thyroid removed in '95 and thankfully it hasn't given me any more problems.

I hope this is all oversoon and things get back to normal for you two.

Take care,

Laura

Thanks everyone for your kind words. Chris had his second surgery today and it went well. His vioice is a little hoarse but hopefully that will improve. He's going to have hos "Radiation Pill" sometime in January.

I just got home, I'm letting him rest fro the night and will visit him tomorrow. He wants me to bring hi a Wopper from Burger King. LOL

Susan:)

Awww sometimes hospital food is awful! Luckily we have really good food at our main hospital.

Has Chris been home at all?

I'm so glad to hear it went well, Susan. Give him a hug from me and surround him with his sweeties!:D

Keep us posted! Good goin' Chris! I hope you continue to improve!:)

Just to let everyone know, Chris is home henow came home yesterday. He's doing pretty good, he can't do any lifting at all. He gets tired quite fast so he's been resting alot which I think is quite natural considering he just had the surgery on Monday.

He's on quite a few medicines at the moment. I had to make him a chart so he'll remember when to take them. Some he has to take with food, others he has to take 4 hours after the Thyroid pill.

Gotta go see if he needs anything.

Susan:)

Susan, if you can, go to the pharmacy and get him one of those little pill cases. They have them that are bigger and have multiple times per day. They even have one with an alarm, but they are kinda expensive.

It would help to make sure he doesn't take the wrong thing at the wrong time. Or can't remember if he took it! My sister is very unhealthy (diabetes, FM, emphysema) and she has one. I'm still on the one row kind LOL!

Here's a pic of one kind:

Great news that he is home, Susan. I am sure both of you will be much happier :). Not suprised he is feeling so tired, though.

Taking so many pills at different times is a real pain. My mom uses one of the pill thingies Bo posted about, and they are a great help.

Hope the recovery is a quick one

Haley I'm too lazy to retype this so I copied it from my Bunny Blog.

Chris is doing good. He hasn't worked much, his choice he's a Limo Driver (going to be looking for a new job in the New Year), which I'm happy about as I never see him in the evenings when he's working.

He has his "Radiation Pill" on January 21, he'll be in the hospital one night then can come home but he can't touch me or the bunnies for one week. This should be interesting as I have Bunnies in almost every room in the house. I know were nuts. And i will be working for 4 days from 9 - 5 (first time in 3 years) for one of the sales reps i use to work with at my old job.Now the problem with this is I live in Ajax and the Convention Center is near the TO airport so it will take me at least an hour to get there and because it's winter and in rush hourand if it snows it can takehours to get to the west end.

Susan:)
