Changed my mind about getting the 7 lion heads

So yesterday I had the opportunity to buy 7 lion heads fr only $100!! I jumped on the opportunity, but after thinking about it last night some more, I have decided that I am jumping into the lion head breed way too fast!! So I have notified the lady that I have changed my mind. Another reason for changing my mind is that the lady has an ad on the website for her lion heads because she has "no time" for them anymore, however there is another ad from the same person looking for angoras and rexes. Sounds a little strange and fishy to me. Maybe she just isn't into lion heads anymore, but then come out an say that. Don't say you don't have enough time for them and then turn around and look for other breeds.

So after all this. I was still looking online and found this beautiful lion head. I go and meet her tomorrow and hopefully bring her home. Going to start out with her and the buck I have first then go from there

I think so too. I don't want to rush into the lion heads. And if this new female that I am getting (Thursday now) turns out to be a good mom, I will keep on of her females. I don't want to have a huge rabbitry. I don't want to be "over run" with rabbits and I don't want to have so many that I can't handle it anymore.

It is very easy to get started and get overwhelmed with rabbits. Also - while $100 for 7 lionheads sounds great....that is pretty cheap -meaning - I doubt that they would be that great quality....and unless she gives you pedigrees - you don't know if they're inbred, etc.

Take it slow- I went too fast when I was into lionheads and while they're a blast to have and to breed....it does take time!
