I bought 2 bags of CareFresh and Miffy does likeit, when I put new stuff in her litterbox she goes in there and playspush it/kick it for a little bit. She diffently uses it forher "business", I was just wondering do you change the whole boxorjust the stuff that is yellow? I end up changingthe whole box, but since I have bought a 30lb bag of Woody Pet to beused for the next change, I thought that I would ask the same for thattoo. I was also wondering, do any of you provide a bed forthe bunnies or do they just sleep wherever?

Thanks for any and all answers. Her outside hutch/run isalmost finished. It would have been done today but we gosidetracked with buying a new patio set and bar-b-que, yay!We should be able to finish it by Tuesday or Wednsday of thisweek.

I have Carefresh, Yesterdays News, Pine Pellets, and Woody Pet. When I clean thebox, I just scoop out the used portion with a largekitchen utility serving spoon. I have a screen on top of thelitterthat keeps the poop from getting into it, so I can justgather the poop, and pour it out. Then I add in some newlitter to fill.

Woody Pet was the best because I needed less and I scoop out less. It has no oder, absorbs, and mixes the best.

Rainbows! :)

.....did i hear someone mention......

Woody Pet ?

:D

LOL Jim. :p

I swear by Woody Pet too. Before, I swore by Yesterday's News, but nothing compares to W.P., especially for the price.

Our rabbits also use their box more now that we use W.P.

I would just change it all. I use normal Pine bedding, but if I were you I would change it all.

I don't provide beds for my bunnies. I provide shelves in their cagesor boxes for them to go in, but if I provided a bed for everyone of myrabbits we'd go broke in no time. Actually they're not even reallyboxes, they're actually cat litter boxes which were just bought fromthe store and cleaned out of course. I provide them as shelters to therabbits I have outside.

Yes ...I do love my Woody Pet!

I use just enough to cover the bottoms of the pans... ..about 1/2 aninch. And I change them almost every day. I just dump the whole thing, wipe it with a paper towel, and put in new Woody Pet.

If I plan on letting them go for a day, I just add a little extra Woody Pet.

Woody Pet expands 3 times when wet/damp. It absorbs rapidly and thendries out leaving a sawdust consistency. If I use too much I've foundthat it expands and then the buns sit on top of it later. Being raisedup higher the buns have had a tendency to pee over the side of the pan.

Every other day I rinse the pans, spray with 50/50 vinegar & water, wash & dry, and add new Woody Pet.

Since you need so little, I have had a problem with the pans not beingweighed down sufficiently, and 2 of the buns have tipped themover a few times. I opted for pans that had higher sides and used moreWoody Pet to help weigh the pansdown. These are also the twobuns that LOVE to dig in their litter so the higher pans helped withthat as well!

Pricewise I definitely think that Woody Pet is the best for the money.... ..and for every other reason, too.

I'm paying $4.79 for30# bags.

Most Tractor Supply Co. carry it.

I buy mine at an Agway.
