My bunny constantly knocks over her water bowl all day and soaks that whole area of her cage, and then lays in the puddle! Sometimes when I come down in the morning I see her bowl is tipped over & empty so I'm really worried about her getting dehydrated or sick from being wet overnight ): I bought a happy habitat water bottle from walmart and she used it right away, but within an hour that soaked her cage.from the constant dripping! Piece of crap ): I was thinking a heavier dish but sometimes she even lays right on top of her bowl and sleeps and gets soaked or she puts her feet in it /: If anyone has any solutions please let me know, I don't want her to get sick and whenever she knocks over the water and lays in it her fur ends up green from the hay color!

Try a bowl that hangs onto the cage. They sit higher up, so rabbits can't lay in them. They are also much harder to tip over. You may need to zip tie it on (the bowl comes out easily).

what kind of dish do you have now that its so easy to tip? I use ceramic dog food croc and my guys cant tip that. They have no problem tossing around a metal bowl 3x its size however.

How large is the cage? does she have other areas to sleep so shes not sleeping in the water?

It is a small ceramic bowl, her cage is about 30x30 and yes she's got plenty of room to lay but I watch her put both paws on the edge of the bowl and tip it over and then she does a bunny flop right in the water!
