Can a buck tell if a doe is pregnant?

I’m just wondering this because my buck is always interested in the two does we just bred when he gets a chance to be around them. But, today, he didn’t care at all to see them. He wasn’t interested. Currently they are around the 6th day of pregnancy. Does this mean he can tell they are pregnant? Just something that made me curious.

Nope. Bucks can't tell at all. They can and will try to breed a doe that is already pregnant.
