You can cut wire cloth (1/2" x 1" for the floorsand 1" x 2" for the walls and tops), and use metal rings and specialpliers to put them together. Don't forget a door.Best thing to do is visita couple ofestablishedbreeders and observe their set-up. If you're going to make anaverage cage (30" x 30" x 18" tall), it can be done for as little as$15-20 (as long as you have the tools). Most supplies can behad from small animal supply companys.
The wire cages can be hung or attached to a coop with a roof andshelter area. Or if you have a shed/barn, they can be hungfrom pipes. It's what ever is best for your rabbits (takinginto consideration breed, size, weight, fur length, ear length, feedingneeds, etc.) and what's best for you to care for them.
