Butter has GI Stasis

So sorry, that's so tough. But you did the responsible thing.

Unfortunately that type of stasis rarely has a good outcome. My friend lost her precious boy a few months ago due to a probable foreign object blockage and he was in excruciating pain as we all tried the regular treatments. We're carrying that guilt with us now.

Surgery isn't much of an option, either, it's rarely successful, at least in getting the tract going again.

So sorry for your loss. I hope you don't give up on bunnies. You're a good caregiver.

Thank you. No, I don't plan to give up on bunnies. I fell in love with Butter too quickly. I will, however, take a bit of a break. I'll finish school and wait until I have a larger place or a more stable/reasonable schedule.

I want to check in occassionally and see how everyone is doing. You guys all have such adorable rabbits.

Thank you guys for all the pointers though! If I have a rabbit experience stasis again, I know where to refer to.
