Bunny with weepy eye

Hi my bun Gromit had gotten poked by his hay feeder rack in the eye whilst feeding yesterday (hes abit of a rough guy) he had a teary eye after that naturally but he still has it. hes absolutely fine as such but im not sure if im over reacting over it?

Have you tried rinsing his eye with a sterile eye wash? There might still be something in his eye.

i gave it a rinse lastnight and sure enuf all good today thanx

I'm glad the eye is doing better. You'll want to just watch it for the next week or so, in case it ended up getting scratched. If you start to see any cloudy spots on the eye, it means there's an infection and you'll need to take your rabbit into the vet to get some antibiotics.

Good thing the eye is doing better. Just keep an eye on it and make sure that its really gone.
