Bunny stool not normal

So for the past couple months my rabbit's poop has been not normal. When it first started we were concerned it was her pellet mix that we fed her so we took her off of the pellets and put her on an all hay diet with some veggies like celery, lettuce, and carrots. We took her to the vet and they put her on an antibiotic that we gave her twice a day for 1 week. Her poop was better and the doctor thought that it was just a bacterial infection in her tummy. Then she started to lose weight. When we first took her to the vet the first time she weighed 4 lbs 5 oz. After the week of antibiotics she weighed 3 lbs 8 oz. We took her back into the vet and the doctor was concerned about the weight loss, but happy that her poop was looking less liquid and more solid. She put her back on antibiotics hoping that she just needed more time on the medicine. We gave the medicine twice a day for 2 weeks. The vet also took a stool sample and there were no parasites. Since Trixie was on a mostly hay diet she told us we should start adding in fresh greens like Kale and Parsley and that we could also give her about a tablespoon of pellets a day to help her gain some weight.

After the second dose of medication her poop still isn't normal and after adding in extra food she still hasn't put on any more weight. Her stool is still very soft. Trixie's appetite and her habits haven't changed since day one though. She still eats very, very well and especially loves her fresh greens. She runs around every morning for about an hour and still loves to be held and pet. We're just not sure what to do anymore for her. We adopted her several years ago and believe she is 10 years old and is a grey haired rabbit. We think that maybe she's just getting older now and her tummy isn't what it used to be, but we're not sure.

Any advice one what we should do would be greatly appreciated.

Since she is that old you may want to try a little alfalfa instead of straight hay. As they age you need to change their feeding. Coal made it to 13 1/2 and the biggest change we made was less veggie and more pellet--she was always a fantastic hay eater.

Thanks for the advice. I'll go pick up some alfalfa tonight, hopefully it helps her.

Yes, our vet highly recommends mixing the hay. It provides interest which means they'll eat alot more of it. And with bunnies, it seems you can never get too much hay into them.

If she's getting Kale and Parsely every day, that may be causing it. Some of my bunnies have ALWAYS ended up with soft poop anytime after having veggies.
