I would really like to knit (or crochet) some cute toys for my bunny, but I can't use normal DK wool because he can choke or something. Can anyone thing of some string or hemp that would't kill Harvey (my bunny)? Please help me because if I need to buy something special, I'll need it soon!
Also, can anyone think of interesting things to make? Already thinking about a stocking filled with sage leaves and locust beans (his favourites!) but I would love more ideas!
Thanks!!!!

They make rabbits safe mats out of things like grass/sisal/banana etc. I'm not sure you could knit with them but weave maybe? Willow toys are popular if you want to have ago at basket making skills :)

I can't say for certain but I suspect cotton would be fine since they're always going at clothes and probably wouldn't ingest it. You can get that really thick cotton string to crochet with.

I don't think hemp is safe for rabbits, it's too stringy when it gets pulled apart and could harm the bun's insides. I would try maybe some sisal rope and see if that works, you'll probably have to wear gloves or something cause that wouldn't feel too good lol
