I found this little girl in a box all by myself while i was walking to the grocery store and just had to take her in. I took her to the vet and he said she was about 3 weeks old but in otherwise good condition and just a little malnourished. He wasnt sure on the breed so im hoping somebody on here could help me. Also any advice on caring for a bunny of this age would be greatly appreciated.

Too cute. I can't believe someone left her in a box?????

She looks like a little fluffy 4 week old Holland Lop.

Chances are you've got a little mutt on your hands... Lol, I sound like a broken record in these topics. I can't see her being purebred by any means especially if she was just left like that. DEFINITELY don't see any havana in her. :rollseyesLot's of rabbits come in chocolate colors, and furthermore, even Havana KITS don't have such fuzzy coat, they are very much smooth even at that age. To me, she looks like a run of the mill mutt that was a by-product of a unwanted breeding. :tears2:

Good luck raising her... I have never tried hand raising kits at this age for the fact that theres a VERY small success rate. I would try and find a breeder in your area with litters around the three/four week mark and see if you can put her in with them for the next 3/4 weeks, because it's very rare that you see rabbits this age survive without their mother.

wait until she's 8-10 weeks old and a breed guess will be easier.....
i'd guess MAYBE a holland lop or netherland dwarf mix, but that's a stab in the dark ;)
