Okay well my families German! Most of them haveeaten rabbit in their lives. My dad used to raise rabbits and hisparents would cook them. :(And my brother-in-law isconstantly talking about them being fat enough. Luckily, I know betterto keep them skinny, ;)say they're too tough from all thatexercise, and lie about their ages! And my family wonders why I wontleave on vacation anymore! lol. I just try to ignore the comments, butif you think about it, if we were to say "can you at least eat thatdog?" we'd probably get reamed out for it!

My husband used to eat rabbits in therestaurants. Luckily, since me and my sister we little we refuse to eatrabbits because we thought they were cute. I guess I knew that I willget one eventially.

Notall of my relatives understand that bunny is not a fish and you can'tjust give him to somebody else whenever your life situation changes. Mymother in law said that if needed we can just give him to somebody as apresent. I was so upset, how can you say something like that. If it wasa cat or a dog nobody would think you can give it away.
People think that bunnies are like fish, and they don't care who their owners are.
Luckily, we don't always listen to stuff she says anyway and she always has an advice about everything.
It seems like all mother-in-laws have an advice about everything.Mymother in law is so bad we don't even visit her and she lives only 10miles away.We only talk to her on the phone once in awhile. If I had myway I would like to ship her on a one way trip to the moon.

Yeah I think you are right. My mom really does not like her mother in law.
Its just I am still teaching myself to ignore most of the stuff shesays and not worry about every little thing I hear. She is a nicewoman, its just her advices bother me all the time.

I think that I lucked out with a way awesomemother in law. Really, she's great and we get along very very well. Shealso LOVES the rabbits. She's German too, and did tell me how herfamily used to raise rabbits for food, but thankfully she doesn't eatthem anymore, or if she does, doesn't tell me about it.

Speaking of which, I nearly had a fit when I saw a rabbit in the meat section at Loblaws the other day!!! Ugh.
