Breeding in doors and are they pets?

I like outdoor cages. During the hot humid summers in texas we freeze two litre bottles with water and put them out in the morning. All of our cages have fans and in the night we put ice cubes in the water. Heat is much worse on rabbits than the cold in texas because we never go below 10deg lol but ive heard they can stand the cold much better as long as they are kept away from the elements(north wind, rain, snow, and direct sunlight).

It sounds like they would make it outside in the winter time also as long as they have shelter and lots of hay to help keep them warm.

I have my house bunnies. But i cant keep my whole herd in the house. My rabbitry is a 3 car garage(with nothing but rabbits in it). They have fans for the summer and heat for the winter.When my does are retired they either go too indoor only,pet homes or some stay with me. My 7 bucks i have now are it, they willnever leave.When i feel they are at the end of breeding i will hold abuck back from their last litter.
