How do you tell if your rabbit is a boy or a girl?

We were told it was a girl but its mounting toys in its cage.

Thanks

We've had the rabbit for about 6 months now. We were told it was a Dwarf.

We were also told it was a girl, will check later. I know its hyper, cant take it out of the cage without scraching everyone. And if you letit on the floor it hides.

Was thinking about getting a ball for it to roll around in but those balls look pretty small.

thanks

ps. Can it eat carrots?

Thanks again

Cheat Sheet for Rabbit Care

Just so you know, rabbits are closer to cats than to hamsters. They'resocial, intelligent, and love lots of play and attention

Pebbles is a Netherland Dwarf,8 months old. We had her for 3 months now.

We spend alot of time on the floor with Pebbles, petting her, feedingher, and just letting her come to us. She feels secureenough, to let us pick her up, and to chase us around the hallway.

Any size ball will do because they will react differently to a largeball than to a small one. Pebbles favorite is a ping pongball.

We only feed carrots as a treat.

The ball I was talking about is the one you put the rabbit in?:?

Never heard of it. That would keep them out of trouble.......ha..ha.

Your local vet can help you determine the sex of your rabbit.Every year you should have a check-up. They can show you howto cut their nails too. When you see them ask lots ofquestions. And post their name and number on your fridge incase of an emergency.

Carrots?? You mean bananas?! :D

Craisins, Zupreem bird treats, apples, sunflower seeds, pineapples,melons.........anything we give Pebbles, she thinks it's a treat.....haha. Sometimes she would snatch it out of hands and run off tothe far corner. We can feed her pellets one by one, and shewould go crazy, begging for it.

Hello Bata212,

I think the best way for you to find this out iswhen you goto the vet. When we got our 1st rabbit, the petstore told usthat she was a boy. But when we went to the vet, he said shewas a girl!:? We looked in books and they told us how to findout, but Snuggy was too furry for us to see. So the next timeyou go to the vet fora checkup, you might want to ask yourvet to see if he/she can tell you. And, yes, rabbits can eatcarrots.

I wouldn't put a rabbit in a ball!!

1.It'd probably get hurt

2. They don't make them big enough

3. It'd probably get hurt

I was thinking of putting my bunny in one of those balls until someone here said thats a no no.
