I know most people bond opposite sex, but my humane society fixes only males when you adopt, I'd prefer them to already be fixed. I realize it depends on the buns themselves, just wanted to hear others experience bonding two neutured males, for future reference, Thanks.

I can understand the humane society's wanting to have only the simpler surgeries done, but it's the females who benefit most, long-term health-wise, from being neutered. But when you're wanting a 2nd rabbit, do some intros at the shelter so he can see if he likes any of the other males there.

I'm working towards bonding males at my house. I have 3 males and 3 females, and so far Molly/Gubble and Pidge/Starling are good together. I can also have Molly/Gubble/Pidge/Starling out for play time together.

Atticus is neutered but he and Gubble go for broke when they are near each other. Gubb is the one that gave Atts all his ear scarring and pitting. Matthias isn't neutered yet, so I haven't bothered trying to pair him with anyone.

My goal is to have all 6 bunnies able to be out for playtime together. I'd love to have them all be house bunnies with just a litter box here and there. I have my doubts about getting Gubble to like any other male, but I'm going to give it a go.

Matthias is Atticus' son; they do all right together but I don't want to push my luck so they are housed separately.
