Well, I guess everything comes in threes. :( Still stinks, though.

Will was joking about how excited that guy was about getting stains out. Maybe he found a really bad stain and got too excited...

ETA: (I know you're not supposed to "make fun" of the dead, but it's my way of coping. We've had a lot of people pass away at the nursing home I work at, so I've been a little bummed).

Well Ed Micmahan (sp?!) died, Farrah Fawcett, MJ, and now Billy Mays. I think a few others died recently, too. People were talking about it on the rat forum.

Okay, I feel bad for laughing when someone just died, but the whole caps thing made me chuckle for longer than it should have. RIP Billy Mays. Your commercials were always annoying, but you did make yourself memorable and OxyClean really does work well even if it sometimes fades the fabric terribly in addition to getting out the stain. The pillow my mom made for me before I was born (it was my security blanket, had to sleep with it through my childhood and teen years) was a victim of extreme fading when my mom soaked it. It did work really well at making vintage pillow cases white again!

Why are so many people dying lately? :(

Billy Mays died at age 50... Just like MJ.
First Ed Micmahan, then Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson, now Billy Mays?! Geez!
I just recently found out Michelle Thomas (Myra Monkhouse on Family Matters) died in 1998.
Where is the world going?!

I think it's the weather. It heats up, the humidity can get to people, etc. More people tend to die in Summer than in Winter. Well, that goes for suicides, anyway. At the nursing home where I work, we've had 3 people die in the past week. There were 1 or 2 that looked like they were going to pass over the weekend when I was in on Friday, so our "count" might be higher. One lady also transferred out of our facility and died a week later. There have been more deaths there lately than there were since January when I started. Seriously, everything comes in 3's. One of my co-workers said that they sometimes go in 7's, too. So, it could end up being a "fun" week. :(

I wonder if that bump on the head to Billy Mays caused an embolism or something. My friend died from a pulmonary embolism from sitting on a plane from CA to WI. He died within a week of landing in WI (the pressure change from the plane dislodged a clot from his leg and it settled in his lung). He was only 18. A bump can do the same sort of thing.

ETA: Liam Neeson's late wife, Natasha Richardson, died from brain trauma after-the-fact. She fell while skiing, and was fine after the fall. She even refused medical assistance, but was rushed via ambulance to the hospital 7 hours later. She died the next day. Weird stuff can happen to the human body.

Billy Mays was the "KING OF PITCHMEN" on tv. He sold everything! He was probably the only pitchman that I ever knew the name of (besides stars selling stuff)... and most of what he sold was really quality stuff that works.
