Hi
I have a couple of house rabbits who manage to get hay everywhere! So am looking for recommendations for lightweight vacuums that I can use to do a daily hoover that will collect all the bits of hay that have been dragged everywhere.
Any suggestions would be gratefully received - I'm UK based. Thanks

I can relate to finding a decent vacuum to gather up hay fragments. Thanks for keeping their area clean and wanting to locate a dependable cleaner through a manufacturer in the UK.

Here in the USA hubby and I often use a smaller fan-shaped plastic leaf (garden) rake to sweep all the loose pieces into a pile. Before gathering and tossing the easily dropped strands in a container. Hope this helps!

We often chuckle because tons of bun parents in the USA could use a handy tool like the rechargeable cordess Sharkie / Shark sweepers purchased over 15 years ago, and still operating well in our home. I'm speculating the company had to discontinue the original design due to the pullout tray (bacteria-reasons?) that collected items with the rotating brush system.

I'll check out the link above, Apollo's Slave ; Hubby and grandson are fans of vacuums.

And it's enjoyable to collect the loose hay (with a decent vacuum) and any dry scent-free marbles that easily roll away from somebun hopping out of their litter box.

- A dependable sweeper/vacuum is a must have for bun parents. With our crew, and with our RIP lab/retriever from a decade ago, fur and shedding season requires an easy-to-roll or use suction system to keep things tidy. Looks like the Argos is similar to a small shop-vac with a wide diameter hose that sucks up items with enthusiasm!

Hi
Sorry for delay in replying. The rake sounds like a good idea. Yes, it was really something like a cordless one that I was looking for, but think I need to settle for a normal one! Thank you.
Stay safe

If you’re looking for a cordless vacuum. Dyson and Shark are good brands to check out!

I am always looking for a good vacuum. In my life I wish I would have tallied up how many vacuums I purchased. I am looking for a vacuum under $200. If you have carpet Miele is one of the best built, most long lasting vacuums made. It is costly but would easily last 10 years if not more.
