I hate snow. I live in New England; we get alot of it here.

Well, I have plenty of critical care, pumpkin and pedialyte so that won't be an issue, but her stomach has become a bit grumbly and she won't let me massage it. I tried and got boxed at.

It's so nice to not be the only one who can be kept "in" by bad weather! I hope it clears up quickly so you can get to the vet soon.

Yeah, I just suggested it as an option to think about if you just can't keep track of when she needs tooth grinding and it means she goes into stasis every two months. If you can get on a schedule, that would be perfect to avoid her being in too much pain or having GI problems. I hope they can clear the roads for you tomorrow--or you could just ski to the vet! Put her carrier on a sled and drag it behind you! (that was a joke!)

I just wanted give you guys a quick update.
Monday's snowstorm had me stuck in the house so I was unable to get her anywhere. ( I liked your idea about skiing to the vet. I doubt Belle would've had fun though. :p)I got her in today though... She seemed to enjoy the car ride. :)
She is staying over night, but it's not going to cost anything extra, and they'll be filing her teeth down tomorrow morning. I'll be picking her up tomorrow evening around 6. And this will all cost me a little over $200. That's not bad considering my last vet bill was like $700.
Thanks for all your help and advice everyone!! :)
I'll let you all know how she's doing.

I'm glad that she's there and having it done.

I also talked to my husband about trying to go to the animal dentist more often because the longer we wait the more there is to do and the more that it cost.

I am not going back to the woman who pulledBeau's teeth unless I have a long talk with her and encourage her to talk to the animal dentist;even then I don't trust inexperience (even with book knowledge)anymore.
I learned a lot from this thread about Belle.

I hope that the procedure helps her feel better soon

Hey guys. Sorry it's been awhile. I've been meaning to update, but life gets hectic sometimes. Belle's doing just fine right now. She'll be going back in about a month and half to get her teeth shaved again. Thanks for all your help everyone. :)

Anytime! Glad to know she is ok!
