Hi Everyone,
Well I thought I would make a blog for Beebo. He's our only bun and of course I just have to show him off.
Just a brief history about him:On march 1st of this year we traveled to Fort Worth with the intentions of purchasing a blue Polish doe that we were to pick up that morning. Well I stopped by the youth judging tables towatch them judge the Polish and learn a thing or two. I ended up talking toa mom to one of the girls that had a buck in the Chocolate Sr. buck class. I told her how I would love to find some show rabbits to raise with my daughter one day, blah blah....wellshe stopped me in my conversation and said, "I'll sell you our buck thats on the table there...I have plenty of other to replace him at home. I'll take $15 for him." $15?? I thought that was really low. The poor guy looked dull, his coat was badly sunburned and kept nawing on the wire of the carrier. "Sure, I'll take him" why not? He was really cute and my 3 year old daughter fell in love with him(alright...I did too!).
To make a long story short, I ended up contacting his original breeder who knew this exact buck and told us that he was out of a litter of 4, with him beingone of twobucks in that litter. He also had won a GC leg when the breeder showed him as a junior. His pedigreed name is 'BBold's GHF1'...Hannah promptly named him 'Beebo'. :biggrin2: So after 3 years of breeding and heavy showing this guy is enjoyingbeingloved on, let loose to run through the house, and eat treats from the kids.We can't imagine life without him!
Hannah and her bun!:
"Mom, take me inside...please no more pictures!"
"What now?"
Enjoying the newly dried hay:
