I love guinea pigs! I've never had one, though. I sometimes call them "fweepers" because of their silly noise.
The good thing is, guinea pigs don't really have oodles of babies, like rats or mice or dogs, even. So keeping all of them is something that is totally possible and doable. I think the average is 2-4?
John was home for lunch and he goes "Everything's pregant/having babies here! Who's next??" then he looks pointedly at Alexis and just shakes his head. "Oh Alexis. Poor poor Alexis." It was funny.
:hyper:
ETA: I have no idea what a newborn guinea pig looks like. I would assume just like any other rodent when it's first born... Just bigger.
Haha yeah my friend got two guinea pigs for free and one morning she came down and it looked like they had just multiplied, there was little guinea pigs running everywherekherrmann3 wrote::hyper:

Guinea pig babies come out looking like an adult only in pint size :biggrin2:They have all their hair, eyes are open and they get up and start walking pretty much as soon as they are born.
It really was awesome to watch. I picked each one up once momma had cleaned them and welcomed them into the world
LMAO Shiloh, in the rat world we say congRATS! Haha! I think congrabbits is very catchy too.
