My parents own a farm and my youngest sister is a 4H kid through and through. She's a very mature 11 and has: ducks, chickens, horses, cows, goats, rabbits, a miniature donkey, dogs and a peacock. Anyway, I'm getting her a Flemish Giant as a gift and she (and I) are very excited about it! He won't be living with me but I'm still excited because I go home almost every weekend and I'll be able to hang out with him. I just got his pic from the breeder and wanted to share because he's just so cute! He'll be 8 weeks on the 9th and we're picking him up on the 12th.

So cute! I want a flemish giant, too! What is the name of the rabbitry? If It is in Arkansas I'd especially like to know, as I am looking for a flemish giant myself!

It's Wild Woods Rabbitry in Green Forrest, AR. :)

Thanks! :biggrin2: Wow though! That's clear at the top of the state, and I'm clear down in the bottom! We will see though. :coolness:

Lol yeah, I didn't find many places in AR that have them. We're pretty much in the middle, but it's about a 2 hr drive for me from my parents farm each way to go get him.

AHHH so cute!!

*Update* Baby is home and omg who has two HUGE ears and is the cutest thing ever? Charlie, what's who. He's home and is the sweetest thing, um, maybe ever. He's also, a beast. He's only 8 weeks old and already a monster. His mom was 18 lbs and his dad was 19, so he's gonna be a big boy! He's a barn rabbit, so at the moment, he's living in a huge horse stall and has plenty of room to run. I sat in there with him for a long time this weekend and he is so friendly! He isn't scared at all. Very willing to be picked up, pet and handled. He hops all over us and is just oh so sweet I'm shocked. He was obviously well cared for and handled frequently at the breeders! But without further ado... pictures! =)

Congratulations! He is absolutely gorgeous.

I'm real close to talking my husband into getting a Flemish Giant. Love those big rabbits! Definitely will be showing yours off. Love his coloring.

K:)

Love it.
I got the Flemish fever too. I was visiting a breeder who had 9 babies (7 weeks old) and these were black ones, so Knight could be a name. :p
