Check on them tomorrow morning, really really early like 5 or 6 AM andsee if their bellies look like they are full.....they will kinda looklike this...

If they are not full looking then maybe the mother isnt feeding them enough.

Another way to tell if your babies are not being fed is to lightlypinch the skin and if it doesnt roll back then the babies aredehydrated.

It is REALLY hard to hand feed the babies, they can aspirate on themilk and get it into their lungs. They also can over eat whichdefinitely isnt good for them :)

Keep us updated! :D

i cant really check them tomorrow at 5 or 6 o'clock coz i have to go toskl. i was thinkin about just giving them a little bit extra milk ontop of the mothers as i no how hard it is 2 hand raise them.

i went down to our local vet theafternoon, :(unfortunatley they did not have anyformular. we then rang our usual vets who could give us simicat :)Pguessed the spelling!!) and some syringes, hopefully theywill give us some more advise on feeding them. :)

HunnyBunny Just becarefull notto overfeed them , unless their stomachseem shrunken and shriveld oryou can pich the tummy shinand it stays pinched iwouldnt suggest hand feeding them ,If it isnt donecorrectly they will asperate itand basically drown, IT takes aLOT of practice to hand feed a rabbit ,It is nothing like hand feeding puppiesand Kittens , If you fiind theneed to hand feed the babies use thesideof your index finger as alanding pad for the formular adrop at a time and dont rushthe formular , the baby will lickoff what it needs or wants, Ihave had to do this handfeeding and I will tell youit takes time patience andpractice, Amy will attest to thatalso, Shehas had to hand feed herbabies when the mother refusedto .

But check the babies first ,the Mother is most likely feedingthem because If she wasntthey certainly wouldnt be alive right now.

I really believethat they are beingfed.[/b]

I wouldntrisk handfeedingthem, since they are still alive then they are ovbiouslygetting enoughmilk that they need to survive. I wouldnt riskdeath just to fatten themup

i have been told alot about the rabbits breathing in milk if this happened wot could i do to help the bunny?

they are all drinking well and i hope im not over or under feeding them!!!

ill keep you posted on the news

What you can do isstick a drop of the formula on your finger and let them lick it off. This is so they can control how much they are taking in. And you canadd drops as the lick it off.
