August starts off with a long weekend for us Canadians. For me, it's three daysat a Rabbit Show in Edmonton. We also have Hertiage Days beginning on Saturday to Monday, where different countries and ethnic groups gathertogether to celebrate their nationalities and culture.

It's only the 6th of August? Geeez!!

Spent this past weekend doing homework as I had a horrible week and never got around to homework till the weekend.

My Ember had to go to the vet Monday (7/28) and was dignosed with pink eye! So it was fun trying to keep the other 5 cats from catching pink eye! Then I went to leave work to attend Emmy Ann's appointment and my Blazer's fuel pump went GOODBYE! So it was towed back to the house where we are going to fix it. I had to be at a meeting that day at 7 pm but didn't get home till 6:45 so needless to say I didn't arrive till 7:30 with notice. The 29th of July was my dad's birthday so I had to go celebrate that at his parent's house... ehh. Rest of the week just flew by so fast with being busy at work and so forth. This past weekend was the boyfriend's birthday but didn't get with him because of him being sick. :(But I will get to see him this weekend.

The next few weeks are going to be horrid! This week already, yesterday I went to work, came home and ate dinner then went right back up to the down I work in to attend a meeting to prep for fair. Tonight I had a 4-H meeting so the agenda was the same as yesterdays. The rest of this week I have nothing planned except Friday when I'm going out with the guy. Next week is finals week and next Friday starts our county fair.

So... that means finishing up the rabbit royalty tests. I only worka few blocks from the fairgrounds so I'll be living inbetween work (putting in 40 hrs) and the fair from August 14 to August 22nd. August 22nd is the first day of a family gathering in which we will be pitching tents in my aunt's yard till thatSunday.

I think from the 26th to the 30th, I won't have classes, no fair... just working! So looking forward to that! Evening of the 30th and into the 31st will be a rabbit show ordeal. Funness!

So that's my life right now. :)

Pictures of the kittens that are now 4 months old and Emmy Ann were taken tonight so I'll share those once they are uploaded. :)

As for now, must hit the sheets! This will be the earliest I've got to bed in months! :D

I'm here!

I'm just very busy with Chippy's care.
She's doing well, but we're going to the vet every week now.

I hope all is going well with those I haven't touched base with lately.

You deserve a break.

I am busy too, but lucky that Pebbles got over her head tilt and her weight has stabilized. No more alfalfa for her. Bebe is fine but continues to bite or nip my wife. ;)

It is busy at work, as I amdoing a co-workers job because he is on holidays for 3 weeks on top of my job.

I am so buried in pictures as I took pictures at last weekends rabbit show. I haven't seen all of those pictures yet. I was too tired to attend the Heritage Festival on Monday that Jan andJohn went to. On Wednesday I had a banquet where the Mah Societyhosted a dinner for guests attending their national Yee convention. Then I had to represent the Mahs at the Yee's Banquet last night.

On Saturday there is a wedding I am attending, and on Sunday my sister is coming in from Toronto for a few weeks. Looking forward to Sunday's dinner where my aunt is serving lobster. :)

Well Fluffys abcess is getting smaller and smaller with each vet visit. We've been going once every two weeks for two months now. Everyone always knows to expect us now and Fluffy pretty much loves "his" vet tech. Seriously everytime she shes us she puts dib on us so she can see her little man. Fluffy is so used to the office now he doesn't just stay flat he stands up and watches through the window to check out what everyone is doing in the back room.

Also Pumpkin is finally scheduled for his neuter!! :biggrin2: August 21! Then the monster is can hopefully be called Pumpkin again haha.

The wedding last night was nice. It was one of the many weddings that occurred for August 8, 2008. It is considered as a lucky day for Chinese people. I know the people or the families of 3 weddings that took place yesterday. :p

I didn't attend, but my mother's cousin also got married on August 8th. :D

Finally got some pictures of the newest additions to our household. They are four months old and have been inside since three weeks old. Presenting; Tia, Zoey and Sara.

Good to see you around the Forum!

I'm so glad Fluffy is doing better.
What did the vet finally decide to treat him with?

Pen G injections and baytril it seems to be working very successfully:) Finally
its ridiculous it took me this long to find a rabbit savy vet.

WOW!! You all sound so extremely busy!
Jim...I do hope your bun household is feeling a little more frisky as of late?
And now that I had a moment to view some of the pics that have been posted I must say a double WOW!! thanks for the beautiful photos :)
We finally have a bit of a break, summer semester is on break WHEW, although the buns don't have a care in the world even during school! Those two have become complete patio loungers, I swear if Jezebel could speak she would order a martini from my husband whilst she lounged outside:bunnybutt:
Anyhoodles, take care all and take care of yourselves!
xo Cher

Hi Cher!! :wave2

Good to hear that you and your buns are doing well.

Still kind of hectic 'round my place.
Chippy's been keeping me real busy as of late.

Hope to see you around the Forum. Give us some updates on what going on by you!!
AND SOME PICS, too!!!!

:attention:

It's the last weekend for a chance to post in August 2008!!

It's a holiday weekend here.

The rest of the family is away on vacation until tomorrow.
Danielle might be home later on tonight.
For now it's just me, the buns, and the dogs.....(that need to be walked pretty soon).

I need to do part of the bunny room clean-up and change litter pans.

Looks like it'll be a late lunch....nachos and/or stuffed potato skins.

And then a late dinnerof Chicken Parmesan, pasta w/ marinara sauce, garlic bread, and a side of sauteed zucchini & tomatoes.
