Ok, I entered Oreo in an ARBA sanctioned show and won youth BIS and BOB with more than three exhibiters and more than five rabbits. I earn a leg right? How do I get the paper? Was I supposed to pick it up at the show? Or will they mail it? I'm not sure if they have my mailing adress, they might just have my email.

Help would be nice :big wink:

When you entered the show - did they ask for your name and address? I know when I did my show entry - it was required.

If so - then they should be mailing you the legs. I know I received Cindy's two legs today for a show that was held 4/17 - it can take a couple of weeks to get all the paperwork sorted out for them to send out the legs and the sweepstakes points.

Not sure about youth, but in open, yes, you would get a leg. The show secretary would mail out your ARBA certificate. You really should have provided them with a mailing address, since presently ARBA has no means to email those certificates.

Email the secretary if you want to know for sure.

They have a month from the date of the show to have it turned into arba, so I'm sure they have to mail it out by then to. Or maybe not. I'm not sure.

I've also had some that we had to pick it up at the next show. o.o; It was odd.

Anywho, yeah. Email the secretary.

And yes, usually if they have a youth show, it'll be sanctioned. It's weird if it not... Unless it was put on by a 4H group or something. Then it may not have been. Just ask! =D

If it was an ARBA show, no matter what, you should get a "Show Report" from the show Secretary. It will show your entry and placings, and if you earned a leg, it will be attached. The Show Secretary has 30 days, after the show, to get the show reports mailed out.

Sometimes if there is going to be another local show within 30 days, a Show Secretary will bring the Reports to another show to hand out (to save postage). Everyone tries to be efficient and thrifty.

You can only earn one leg per show. But if there was 2 shows, yes, you can get 2 legs. (provided there were the 3 different exhibitors and 5rabbits in each show.)

So if I got BOB in youth1, BOB in Open2, and BOS in Open3, I'd get 3 legs? Youth BIS couts toward the youth1, am I right? This is really interesting :clapping:

As long as the Youth show wasn't part of either of the Open Shows. And regarding the BOS, as long as you BEAT4 other rabbits owned by 2 other exhibitors. If you take Best Opposite Sex, there has to be at least 5 entered by 3 exhibitors in THAT SEX.
