The French Lops are a challenge to raise in the Texas summer heat. Many of the people that raise rabbits near me suffered huge losses due to heat stroke. Fans alone are not enough, I had success through the summer by putting block ice and frozen 2 liter coke bottles in the hutches so they could lay against them and stay cool. Wish I could afford to build and maintain a climate controlled barn. The French are a wonderful breed and cannot imagine not having one or many
