I'm going to see if we can get a second bunny - I'm looking for a small bunny lop like a holland lop because they don't get too big (I think they're the smallest of the lops right?), and in a 2x4x2 NIC cage I figure two small bunnies could co-exist.

I've tried online searches, but most of the websites for the Ottawa area are out of date - the Ottawa Humane Society has bunnies but they're not lops or they're large bunnies. Anyone know where I can get some small lops? I've been reading posts and it's suggested I get an older fixed bunny (I have a 13 week unfixed female), but are older bunnies harder to litter train and aren't they already set in their ways? Should I go to a breeder? I'm looking for a pet, not a show bunny - so basically just a cute, friendly bunny.

Any ideas?

I have kits that will be available in winchester but although their mom is a lop their ears aren't dropping they are just really long for their little bodies. If you are interested in that I could show you a pic of the two that are available May 26. If you plan on housing two together they both need to be fixed though.

There are several rabbit breeder clubs in Ontario. I don't know Ontario that much, so I can't help with which ones are closer. You might also be able to find some rabbit breeder clubs in Quebec. You can try contacting a breeder through a club. Most will have an updated member or breeder list. Many breeders will have pet quality rabbits.
You can also try going to shows in your area if there are any. Some breeders will bring some rabbits to sell. Even if there are none that you want that day, you can still meet some breeders.

You might be able to find one on Kijiji or another classified website. Some breeders do advertise and you might be able to find an older rabbits, maybe even spayed or neutered already.
I don't think that a slightly older rabbit is going to be much harder to litter train. You might have some issues if it is 3-4 years or older and has only lived on a wire cage, but even then it can still be done. It may take a bit more work, and could take a bit longer for the hormones to calm down if the rabbit was recently fixed. I got a 15 month old angora last August. She was spayed about a week before I picked her up and had been living on a wire cage. It took a few months for her to pee in the litter box all the time, but the pooping only took about a week and the pee was only in the cage.

Not yet, I'm still trying to convince hubby but he's reluctant. I don't think hubby would be willing to drive out that far for a bunny but I'd still love to see pics of the babies.

I'm still working on daddy - trying to get the kids to push him over too.

I am in Ottawa quite frequently and could meet you if need be. I will post pics some time this weekend the two fluffy ones are available; one buck and one doe. They are balack with manes and will probably have the lop ears as mom is a lop and dad is a lion head with lazy ears that are always half lopped.
