im getting braces next month..........
i can look forward to your teeth sort of.. is it sore

Looks good.

It doesn't hurt at all -execpt my molar, but it has nothing to do with my braces-
They feel like seashells, slimey and wierd.
I find myself laughing more, aha.

If you read the thread I posted when I got them first on you'd understand why i'm so happy thier straight.
At first I wanted to get them off, I was in SOO much pain. -Don't worry about it, I have a very low pain tollerance- and I went back and I said I wanted them off. The owner of the dentist place came to talk to me and said no, you'll regret it. Well, after getting that turned down my mom tried to convince them to take them off, and they said no, to bad. I'm so happy they were hard headed =)

Your teeth look great, and.....I'm jealous.

My teeth are uneven and a bit crooked, they look awful. When I was a kid, my mom didn't have any sort of insurance, so she couldn't afford even regular dental checkups for me, and braces were totally out of the question. My dad once offered to pay for the dental work, until the orthonditist sent him a cost estimate. He moved and changed his phone number after that, so that was the last time I saw an orthodontist.

(There's nothing I can do about it now, as adult orthodontics are not covered at all under my insurance. I do the medical savings thing so much of my medical costs are at least tax-free, but the cost of the orthodontics would *far* exceed the limit of that.)

So, congratulations on your beautiful smile! (And anyone who'll be getting braces soon, it will totally be worth it in the end.)

Thank you.
It's not to late, most orthodontists' take payments. Not even huge ones. I know if my mom wanted to pay in payments it would of been something like 60-80$ a month.

Woo hoo! Congratulations!

I got my braces off on....Friday the 13Th! 28 years ago! (Gracious I'm gettin' old!) To this day I tell people that Friday the 13th is my lucky day. They think I'm weird for saying it, but I'm used to people thinking I'm weird. :p

Your smile looks great now :biggrin2:!

I wish I could get braces. I have this one front tooth on the bottom that is pushed a bit farther back then the rest, it drives me nuts. I hope to one day get those clear braces, I can't remember their name now.
