American Fuzzy Lop
The American Fuzzy Lop is, as the name suggests, a lop-eared rabbit with long fuzzy fur ("wool"). The ideal adult weight for an AFL is three to four pounds.
American Fuzzy Lops come in many colors, which ARBA groups as follows:
Broken Black color:
Tortoise Shell (?) color:
Sable Point(?) color
Notes on similar breeds - all of these are lops, but have short fur:

American Fuzzy Lops come in many colors, which ARBA groups as follows:
- Agouti: Chestnut (brown/black), Chinchilla (light and dark grey/black), Lynx (fawn/lilac), Opal (blue/white), Squirrel (blue/grey)
- Pointed: White with black, blue, chocolate or lilac on the nose, ears, feet and tail.
- Self (that is, one color across the whole bunny): Black, Blue, Blue-eyed White (BEW), Chocolate, Lilac, Ruby-eyed White (REW)
- Shaded (dark on nose, ears, feet and tail, shading smoothly to a lighter color on the body): Sable Point (sepia brown/cream), Siamese Sable (sepia dark brown/lighter sepia brown), Siamese Smoke Pearl (smoke grey / pearl grey or beige), Tortoise Shell (blue-black / orange), Blue Tortoise Shell (blue / fawn)
- Wide Band (shaded from darker across back through lighter below): Fawn, Orange
- Broken: Any of the recognized colors on a generally white bunny

Notes on similar breeds - all of these are lops, but have short fur:
- Holland Lops (called "Miniature Lops" in the UK) are about the same size as Fuzzy Lops, but with short fur
- Mini Lops (called "Dwarf Lops" in the UK) are larger - 4.5-6.5 pounds
- English Lops are larger still - at least 9.5 pounds - with extremely long ears.
- French Lops are the largest - over 11 pounds
