I want to talk about something very hard Child Abuse ...April is Child Abuse Awareness month

People dont realize the effect that a song can have on a person I heard Alyssa Lies for the first time tonight and I cried

Please tonight when you go to bed say a little prayer for all the children lost to abuse in this world because they are our angels now

God Bless all the little children in this world

:bunnyangel::rip::missyou:big kiss:

Hold and kiss your kid tonight and thank God for every little child

Beautiful Babies taken far too soon now you can be at peace and Lord,My God, please be with all of the children that are being abused hold them close to your side and comfort them because only you have the power Amen

Im sorry guys but I just came from a beautiful candel light cermony for all of the Angels that have gone from this world please if you know anyone that is being abused dont turn the other way call someone Because maybe you are the one that saves them again I am sorry guys

But whoever is a cause of trouble to one of these little ones who have faith in me, it would be better for him to have a great stone fixed to his neck , and come to his end in the deep sea ( matthew 18:6)

I haven't heard the song, but you are so right in asking for prayer for these littlest and most helpless of victims. Thanks for reminding us of the job that we have....to lift each of these children and to listen.

I just watched the youtube video....my heart is in pieces for these dear little ones...

It isa sad song but I promise once you hear it it will affect you in a deep way. Look for it on youtube.com Jason Michael Carroll sings it

one of my favorite books of all time is a book called "A Child Called IT" its a beaufitul story about a boy who was abused by his mother and how he grew up into a great person anyway! i highly recommend it!

James

That song is a definite tear jerker!

I've read the series on A CHILD CALLED IT and his story has to be one of the hardest things I've ever heard. How he made it out of that mess is a miracle.

My daughter recommended those books, and they were so wrenching, but so amazing. To think of the strength and resiliency of someone so young and vulnerable....unbelievable.

James those books were amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I of course read the backwards, lol, I read the second one first, the first one second, and the last one last, lol. I highly recommend those books to anyone, they were hard to read and i was so upset, the hard part was to think that all that he stated in that book actually happened to him and that is the scary part.

There is also a song called Dear Mr. Jesus that is wonderful . I read a child called it and I felt so much hatred towards the father because he should have stopped it. Most people wont call because they are afraid but it only take one strong person to do the right thing..... I promise I will call if i suspect abuse and you should too..... Hillary Clinton had it almost right when she said it takes a village to raise a child..... It takes a nation to protect children and love to raise them well.

There's actually more then 3 books to the series of "A Child Called It"

A Child Called It
The Lost Boy
A Man Named Dave
Help Yourself
The Privilage of Youth
Help Yourself For Teens

On June 24th, 2008 Dave Pelzer's newest book, "Moving Forward" hits the shelves.

I just realized that I hadn't read them all so looks like I must go buy some more of his books. ;)

I will say this and this is hard for me to say.

If someone had not made that call when I was 7 years old I would not be here. I have had to do it myself for a little girl who was also adopted by my mother. Who I am proud to say is 12 years old now and theapple of my mothers eye. She is at a high school level and on her way.

Thanks for that I am glad people relize this is a major problem it afects the chrildren there whole life. But that call can make the difference for a child it did for me RIP my older bother who died when CPS sent him back to a drunk father.

I am 19. And love life to the fullest and would protect any child cause I know what happens.

Now going to call my mom and say thank you She has been doing foster care for 19 years and has adopted 9 total My mother is 67 years old and still going strong. she is still doing foster care to this day I was adopted at 9. I have a total of14 bothers and sisters raging from age 49 to 7.and number of other that would come home if they needed. Meaning the foster kids she did not adopt.

Thanks sorry its in our own back yards. And most people would turn and walk away
