Well, for 2 or 3 years now I have wanted a Holland Lop. Now, I am going to a rabbit show looking for a Holland Lop, and I'd like to see what all of you think of your Holland Lops, what thier attitude is like? All that fun stuff... I know all buns are different, but I'd like to know about some of the RO holland lops :)

Thanks
SSS

And not to be a pain or anything... But do you suppose some of you could post some pics? :) Im having a major Holland Lop craving, and have looked at a lot of pics in blogs and stuff... Anyone got some they'd like to post here?

I LOVE them. I only have 1 - Charlie, but he is SO cute. He's stayed a cutie pie even as he got older, and they have the most deliciously cuddle-able bodies - you just have to squish them whenever you pick them up.

And, my Charlie is super affectionate (although that may just be his personality) and sweet. He's very mellow, easy going, not high-strung like my other bunny.

Pepsi is a Holland Lop. She is very skittish but once she is comfortable with you she is a big sweetie. She is also the softest thing I have ever felt in my life. Her fur is like silk.

She is SO well behaved, even when I used to cage them at night, Ozzy would break out and I would wake up with him running around and she is sitting quietly in the cage until I call her over. She is super smart, she knows her name, she knows "no", she knows "good morning" (they come running when I get out of bed and say it) and she knows "salad" and "go to your room"

She got along really well with Ozzy right away and they bonded immediately, I love my little baby she was my first bunny and she's absolutely perfect :)

My Holland, Loki, has the BEST personality. He's sweet, loving, and extremely affectionate. I attribute that to his natural personality BUT a lot of it has to do with the fact that he was an only bun for more than a year. He bonded to me very tightly and even when I introduced a new bun (a Lionhead named Lily) he was still very friendly towards people and extremely loving to me. He picks me over Lily any day of the week. Poor Lily! :(

Its great that you all have such wonderful Holland lops... Thay all seem very fun and loving.... Suppose thats something thats in the breed? A firend of mine has a holland lop who has free range of their yard in the day, and she seems much like all of your guys buns. :) I can't wait to get my Holland Lop :)

While lionheads are my favorite breed - holland lops are right up there with them.

Hollands are a blast - Puck is loving but mischievous - I think of hollands like the energizer bunny though...sometimes they keep going and going and going (cause they love to run and hop and play).

I'd get a Holland in a minute anytime....they just have great personalities. Or at least the ones I've had....

I don't really have a fav breed, thouhg I do really love Lion heads, and Netherland Dwarfs, and Mini Rexs.... But for some reason I have always wanted a lop, and on saturday I am 99% sure I'll come home with one.... Its just a matter of picking the right one :)

I love my Dallas. He is a goof. He really can give you that look like you are scum beneath his paws.

Thanks for replying :) I am so excited about getting a holland lop finally :) I have wanted one for a LONG time now, and knowing that on saturday I will get to finialy have one has got me soooooo excited and hyper :p....

I can't wait :)

I'm in love with mine. She is the best pet I've ever known! She'll lay down and watch tv with me on the couch and let me lay my head on her without moving at all. She'll lick me to death! I've never seen an animal lick as much as her. When she runs around the bathroom, I'll go and lay down and she'll come right over to be and lay down or lick my face until I can't breathe, haha. If I'm laying down next to her, in a big room, she won't leave me. She is so friendly and cuddly. And smart. She learned beg in just an hour. I'm going to attempt to teach her more things. But lazy, she is incredibly lazy. She's also good with other animals. If you was going to get a small child a rabbit, she'd be perfect.
