I wonder if anyone would know wether it's advisable to breed an albino netherland dwarf.
A friend of mine has had a litter from his and one of the little ones is an albino.

Blindness in rabbits has many causes includingbacterial, geneticand congenital. If thatparticular line carries an inherited form of blindness, then it is notadvisable to breed them. Albino is a commoncolor inrabbits, and albinism in itself, does not necessarily cause blindness.

The other 3 rabbits of the litter was fine

I just wanted to let him know if it was ok to breed from the albino, asi thought maybe that was the reason for the poor little blindone.............if that makes sense!!!
