Hello,

I am new to this website, as I am having trouble with my bunny.
She is almost a year old now and I have had her for almost 11 months. She is comfortable with us and lets us touch her and sometimes she will nudge your hand to pet her. However, she is getting really aggressive. We do not do anything to cause this behaviour, we respect her and her space.
Her aggressiveness is just getting worse, and we did get her spade. I have no idea what to do because she attacks everyone and anything.

Help please!
Thank you!

You need to determine if your rabbit is being aggressive from fear or has learned this behavior to 'boss' you around. If it is a behavioral issue, you will need to work with her establishing boundaries(like you would with any pet with behavioral issues). Gently but firmly pressing a rabbits head down for a few seconds, like a mother rabbit would discipline her babies, is one method that works for some rabbits. Using a loud sharp sound when your rabbit bites, treat training, or timeouts, are other methods that may work. If it is due to fear, you will need to work with building your rabbits trust.
