Good afternoon!
I have two female rabbits, sisters, about a year old. I noticed they were starting to spray and hump each other and being slightly aggressive toward each other. So I went and got them both spayed hoping it would mellow them out and help with those problems. Anyways, it’s been about 4 weeks since they both were spayed and they were fine until yesterday. I broke up a little bunny fight between them. They were circling and nipping at each other. I made sure neither were injured and I separated them. How come all of a sudden they are being aggressive toward each other? Should I keep them separated? I have a large outdoor play area for them and when I let one out the other isn’t happy. I just don’t know what to do.. I don’t want to re home one. I need some advice or help. Thanks!

Have they been together and bonded since their spay? Yes, I would keep them separated for now or you risk possible serious injury occurring.

So after they got spayed I just put them back together.. ‍♀️♀️ New bunny owner. So I have separated them.. I am going to try and see if they will re bond. Is that the correct way?
