in the past3 weeks one of our rabbitsas been getting randy, we brought them 1 year ago from the local petshop and we were told they were both females but the other day a friendlooked and it turned out one of them is a male is itnormalfor the male to spray white stuff all over the place please reply.

Sounds normal for a hormonal youngman. Rabbits excrete large amounts of calcium and minerals intheir urine, which can sometimes give it a white or creamy appearance.

If you've had them over a year, it is highly unlikely for them not to have gotten pregnant months ago and several times over by now. That, to me, suggests you may have same sex buns, and most likely does if they still get along with one another. It is not exactly uncommon for does to have the ability to spray as well as bucks and they will sometimes mount their partners (male or female) in shows of dominance.

If both are females, you might considered getting them spayed in the interests of general good health, longevity, reduction in hormonal activity (like spraying) and reducing the probability of uterine cancer, which is extremely high and almost always fatal in unbred does over six years old.

I was thinking the same thing as Buck...Ifthey've been together for over a year, you surely would have had babiesby now. I would check the sexes again. Rabbit urinecan be all kinds of colors. My girls sometimes have milkywhite urine, it's not common, at least at my house, but it doeshappen. Elvis sprayed once and it was like that, but I'veseen it in the girls too.
