My vet was so far pleased with the wound. He actually showed me some pictures of the operation which was interesting.
Fiver's been having some free range time, but we have noticed he's limping quite a lot on his front paw (where the wound is) so it must be uncomfortable for him. We are only into the 5th day, so its understandable that any pressure is causing him discomfort. The area around the cut is also very pink. I've used a compress, but I may take him in the morning, just so the vet can have a look.
I decided to just leave his Oxbow pellets in his bowl for quite a while but he didn't touch them, but as soon as his russel rabbit food was put in, he started eating all the green bits. At least he's nibbling on something.
