We had to, medical reasons and the darn humid summers we get up at the cottage, it's just not fair (his fur was all min 4".. some was even 6")

And yeah, everyone thinks he's wearing a shirt or something, but he's not.

When I had my male pug. We shaved him during the summer to keep him cooler.. It doesnt hurt a thing..

Noo,
he had to get some ultrasounds done and stuff so he had certain places shaved but it was bothering him with the fur difference, so we just got it all taken off

It's supposed to be pretty hot today, so we're glad we got him shaved when we did.
He's sooo tiny without his fur, no more then 1ft by 1ft

Yes! It made a big difference. It cut down the shedding and kept them cooler.
