Very likely rabbit syphilis (aka vent disease/scabby nose). The rabbit most likely also has genital sores.

Treatment by a vet is needed ASAP. Injectable Penicillin is the recommended treatment.

Snuffles can also cause scabbing and irritation around the nose due to a runny nose, however, ointment will generally clear symptoms up.

Thank you. I didn't want to say syphillis in case i was way off and would just insult the person. LOL. I never had experience with syphillis but it sure sounded like it from what I have read about and all that. I had never seen a rabbit with snuffles get like that for so long. :?Though she said on and off... With syphillis would it come and go? Or is it the cream that helped just a little with the inflammation maybe?

yep, I was thinking syphillis when I saw it.
