If you use mesh and get in an accident your buns are not at all protected.

Hi all, we have a HUGE garden and I want to plant some veggies and herbs for the buns. I was wondering what is safe for them to grow my self. I have posted about herbs but only got one response so posting again. Any one else grow good for their buns?

Do not use mesh. I use a dog crate that looks like this. I use this for my two full sized adult rabbits and they fit great with a bit of extra room. I do highly reccomend the top loading one as well.

3 weeks and one day seems a bit young to eat pellets. Kits typically start eating-pellets at 6-8 weeks old. At least that how it was when I had babies.

Ok thanks! They have hay as well. Just wanted to know about the straw.

Just one quick question. Is straw ok to use in a potty box for my buns. I ran out of the pelleted bedding I use.

I would not use fleece for a snuffle mat for rabbits as ingesting it can be harmful to them. Here’s a better option I get mine off chewy .

I see your in the United States. Chewy has some great rabbit toys as well as Amazon. If ordering from Petco or petsmart just be sure that they are safe as all toys and things they sell are not rabbit friendly. You mentioned a snuffle mat. What is it made out of?

Use a file to file down rough edges. Also make sure to have plenty of enrichment toys. The bun may be intrested in chewing the cardboard. If you need toy ideas or anything else let us know. We are here to help!

I’ve had the comb for less than a year. It’s the actual hair buster brand.

Also brush recommendations. I have used the hair buster and don’t like it as it pulls. What brush/ brushes do you use?

Emmi ans Emit are doing very well. They have FINALLY lost some weight and are overall very healthy. I found out emmi is not deaf which is a big relief for me. The buns are currently molting which is causing me to have so much fur on me but that’s ok. Emit is getting more and more comfortable...
