How much do trips to the Vet like that cost?

It was fine for a while. The bottom of the mouth didn't have fur but it certainly didn't have scabs. Everything just suddenly got worse today and the eye was watering today and it didn't before. My parents don't want to take it to the vet because right now we can't pay for it x-x

It's had sores for a long time but it specifically got worse recently. It's spread so that there's no more fur at the mouth. It also has one eye that has a line of wet fur under it. What can it be and is there a way to treat it without going to a vet? Thanks
