    Rabbits first time pegnancy

I don't know much about the breed as I raise Dwarf Lops and Cashmere Lops and they are at a good age by six months. I would be doing research before starting this, don't go into this unknowing of a rabbit there is a lot more to breeding and raising then just kits at the end things could go...

And there are numerous reasons why she is rejecting him. Age, condition, and more van have to do with it.

    Rabbits first time pegnancy

How old are they? Does aren't to be bred until they're at least six months for small breeds and anywhere between eight to a year for the larger. And why on earth breed if it isn't to a standard of a breed? I don't mean to sound rude or anything but there isn't a point unless you are breeding...

Help! My rabbit ate chocolate! What should I do?

One of my rabbits ate cat biscuits from the cats food bowl and he wanted more! And he's doing well, he did this at about four months old and he's seven months now.

    Lavender: First time mum

Today is the 27th day and it's quarter past seven at night and Lavender has begun picking hay up in her mouth and moving it to the corner she's been digging and scratching at for the past week. She's now laying down on her side in the exact spot. Earlier she was on my bed whilst I was tidying...

Mr/Mrs Bunny !!!... just wanted to share photos because Bunny is just so cute.....

Most of mine are that size when they're four weeks but they're Dwarf and Cashmere Lops. I have a Plush Lop though, gorgeous girl her names Mooki and if she wasn't a lop people would mistake her as a kangaroo! She looks just like one.

Mr/Mrs Bunny !!!... just wanted to share photos because Bunny is just so cute.....

He's definitely a Mini Lop (Holland in US.) if he's that small, they're small bunnies when compared to a Dwarf Lop he won't grow very big at all.

    Dietary Questions

I feed mine meadow hay (Used as bedding too) they have unlimited supply of pellets which is mixed with different type of pellets and alfalfa, Timothy, and lucerne chaff mixed in. They get celery, carrot, pear, apple, banana and cucumber on select days but in small portions. They also get freshly...

If there is an orange or beige tinge than definitely a black otter but if not and belly fur, ticking, nose, chin, behind ears and all should be white.

    Possible Second Pregnancy?

Oh my, that's surely an adventure. I always check the nests and she's housed in my room with one other rabbit and everyone else is in another room so with her here I can keep a close eye on the going ons and I've had litters inside and out and what I've notice is the survival rate of the entire...

What breed is my rabbit? (UK)

Similar face to two of my does. They're both Dwarf Lops. There are physical factors beside size of the Mini and Dwarf Lops like ear shape, head shape and few others but as of what they are I couldn't say I work with Dwarf Lops and not Mini Lops.

    Possible Second Pregnancy?

I know what they are used for, it's just I've never encountered this problem as my does dig deep within their bedding so they can't wander out. Plus I've never had one that wandered before it's eyes opened but it always went back with out help. I do see the advantages of it, as I was planning to...

    Possible Second Pregnancy?

Normally I allow them to make a nest wherever they feel like it in their cage but its just so difficult when it starts smelling so I am experimenting a new method. I've never fancied nest boxes, they're good when you don't use hay bedding but unnecessary if you do.

    Possible Second Pregnancy?

About five days. The 12th is her 31st day but I'm expecting either day before that or day after. She's made a little hole in her hay pile I have her and adjusted her cage set up from its usual hay everywhere regime like everyone else's cage! Here's a picture of her cage and how I change it:

    New Bunny Mummy To Be.....

We only have one vac for buns here and it's for calici. I suggest fly wire on your cage if you have a ton of mozzies in your area as they can carry both of the most deadly rabbit viruses which are myxi and calici. Keeping him in doors is a very good idea. He's so cute, I almost got a bun who...

    Orchard or Meadow Hay?

Most people here use Oaten but I personally dislike it and hate giving it to my rabbits, guinea pig and horse it's not as good for them and they get stuck in the long haired buns and pigs coats and I actually have to buy it and it costs a ton and it has almost killed my horse before I prefer...
