    Rabbit food for young rabbits

I feed Manna Pro to my adult rabbits. I have 12 kits in the nest box and need a young rabbit food. I cannot get Manna Pro GRO formula in my area without paying almost $20 to ship it. My nursing does HATE the oxbow young rabbit feed. Are there any recommendations on another young rabbit pellet food?

New Rabbit Owner! Various Questions with inconclusive results so far

I have 5 rabbits. They poop constantly. Does your rabbit poop a large number of pellets when he does poop? How is his eating and water intake? What kind of rabbit food are you feeding? Any veggies? Hay? Are his poops soft and loose or round, firm balls? Also, my rabbit sneezes occasionally. I...

    Rabbit Pregnancy Issues? Help!

I had an over due doe this month. On day 33 I gave her fresh raspberry leaves and she kindled 1.5 hours later. It may have been a coincidence, but you could give it a try! I gave her a handful of leaves, she didn't eat them all, but she ate a good amount. Make sure you scrape the thorns off the...

    Winterizing water bottles/dishes advice

Water bottles. Which are a PAIN to thaw. I ended up having multiple extras in the house to just sap out. But the metal spout's froze quickly. So we switched to bowls that attach to the wire, way easier to thaw, but I'm still giving the heated bowls a go so they never freeze.

    Winterizing water bottles/dishes advice

This year I'm going to give heated bowls a try. I found some on Amazon. Usually I'm out checking for frozen water a few times a day.

    Suddenly spraying! Help!

UGGHHHH!! :(:(:( I've never had a problem with bucks spraying before. What a bummer, i wanted to get a couple litters out of him. Neutering won't change his sweet disposition will it?

    Suddenly spraying! Help!

My sweet, loveable, cuddly buck is suddenly spraying when i go near him! He also keeps popping out his penis when i pick him up. WTH is his deal?! He never did this before. I realize neutering will help, but he is 7 months old and i figured he was past the puberty stage. He fathered kits a month...

    Biting

I have a biter. We've had her a month, she just had babies. (I didn't breed her, she came pregnant) I'm hoping the biting was a crazy lady pregnancy thing or even her just being scared since she's new to our home. She bites HARD, too! I've never had a biter before her. On the plus side, she...

    Smaller kit-should i feed?

Yes, they are in a nest box. I have started weighing them daily. He is runty compared to the others, but not much smaller. At last weigh in he was .4oz smaller than the next smallest kit. So far he is doing well. He isn't a peanut, just the smallest of the bunch.

    Smaller kit-should i feed?

I have 4 day old kits in the nest box. 1 of them looks a bit runty, he doesn't look as plump as his 4 siblings. Should i flip mama and let him nurse? Or supplement him? I included pics just because. Haha

    Skinny doe

Also, I was feeding her 1/2 a cup a day of pellets and unlimited hay. Until I realized she was pregnant, which was about 2 weeks before she kindled. Then I increased her amount to a cup per day. Then when she started to feel boney I increased to unlimited. I've had pregnant rabbits before. But...

    Skinny doe

Ok, thank you for all that information! I will start out by measuring her food and documenting the amount she is consuming per day. I could not find alfalfa hay, I bought the pressed alfalfa hay cubes, though. I also feed her unlimited grass hay. I have been giving her a small amount of BOSS a...

    Skinny doe

My doe gave birth yesterday, and I noticed a week or so ago she was pretty boney. I would feel her shoulder blades, hip bones, spine, ribs all prominently. I have been feeding her unlimited pellets, grass hay, 1/4 cp oatmeal and she gets a large handful of greens daily. But she is not gaining...

    Peanut or Runt/Help Appreciated

Also, personally, I'd keep feeding him. I'm a bleeding heart, so if i wasn't sure about the peanut thing, I'd give him a fighting chance.

    how to catch my bunny?

Sit and let her come to you. Rabbits are very curious creatures. So she will eventually come to check you out. But it may take a while. You could also try getting some type of panel and making her space temporarily smaller when you want to catch her.

    Peanut or Runt/Help Appreciated

If he is a peanut he isn't viable. It would be kinder to euthanize him, now. I don't have enough experience with peanuts to be able to tell if it is or not from the pictures. Good luck with your babies!

    We're ready for babies!

Our Juliette is due anyday. Since she's an indoor bunny, i just stuck a tupperware box in her cage. I figured it was time since she started ripping the stuffing out of the back of my couch. (she came to me pregnant. So I'm winging it)
