I guess it's where you live, then. I've just been into my local one (I keep an eye on them!) and again they have fans blowing gently over the cages, icepacks and notices around the cages about what they expect from you if you buy a pet, and saying that they don't sell to impulse buyers or kids...

I have that harness in the pic too. I haven't tried it with my new rescue buns, but previous buns seemed happy enough, although I did get some disapproving looks about its style! I familiarised my buns with it by putting the harness on without the lead, and letting them get accustomed to it.

Good God! The gremlins got to my post and changed pets at home to random rubbish! (Freudian slip by HTML?!)

I went into my local P@H store recently during the hot spell, and was pleasantly surprised and relieved to see that the bunnies they had were being well-cared for. There were fans blowing near the cage, icepacks in the cage, plenty of food &water, and all the buns seemed to be happy enough.

My current 3 buns were £25 each, spayed/neutered and microchipped from the RSPCA. Previous buns were £10-£25 each over the years, and I've had a few "free to good home" bunnies and a Californian meat rabbit kitten from a farm for free.
