    Normal or in pain?

Visually she doesn't look like she's in pain. She just layed out and looks comfy. But the sound of teeth grinding is worse than nails on a chalkboard to me.

    Normal or in pain?

My rabbit got spayed on Thursday at a rabbit savvy vet. I didn't pick her up until Saturday morning (bc of my schedule). The vet tech told me she wasn't eating well and only pooping small poops, so she took me in the back and showed me how to syringe feed her. And she gave me instructions on how...

    Pellets over Hay

It's more important for rabbits to have hay over pellets. Even growing rabbits (with the exception of malnourished, underweight rabbits). My young rabbit wanted pellets more than hay too, and although they said to give unlimited pellets to young rabbits I limited my rabbits because it was the...

    Adopting rabbit without history

There is a bunny I am interested in adopting and he is being fostered right now. The information says they are not sure if he is neutered. So this scares me... can I assume that the bunny wasn't checked by a vet? And how can they be sure the rabbit is even a buck, and healthy? Is this normal?

Fostering bunny - torn about adopting her myself

But if you are fostering because of Financial situations, then it might be best for you to let someone adopt her. Especially because she is so young and like you said your already considering her needing a bun-friend... that can get costly. Do what you think is best for the bun :)

URGENT- Bun is half paralyzed, should I put her down?

This is completely up to you. You know your bunny, you know if she is happy or in pain, and how often. Personally I think I would given the information you provided. It's tough... I am so sorry you have to go through this and make this difficult decision.

    Help with chewing/biting

I don't think there is anything you can do. I know there are sprays to put on things that apparently the rabbits dislike so they don't chew it, but I don't know how well they work. As far as your bunny chewing on you, I would just move him whenever he does it I don't know what else you can do :/

    Help with chewing/biting

Sometimes it's just the personality of the bunny. Sometimes it can be a lack of trust from bunny to you... like she trusts you if it's on her terms, but when you approach her for a head pet she gets nervous and bites. It's important to understand that this is a reflex for her, she's a pray...

    Help my bunny's are fighting

Rabbits can kill each other. No one knows why but sometimes bonded bunnies have a change in heart and start to become aggressive to one another. It's probably hormonal which is why you should get the other one spayed. Keep them separated. Spay the other. Give her a few weeks to recover. Then...

    Spaying finally!

Yay on getting spayed! I too am getting my bunny spayed soon (next week), with plans to eventually get her a bun husband. Whenever Mr. Dreamy comes along that is. I personally go on Petfinder.com and you can search for rabbits that need to be adopted in your area. You may be to travel a bit...

    First time with shedding season

Just venting: I've read rabbits shed their fur every couple of months but this is my first time experiencing it. Oh good lord it's a pain in the butt. It's like never ending. Me and my bunny are not happy.

    Change of behaviour

Sometimes rabbits unusual behavior can be a sign of something wrong, and other times it's just a sign that they are weirdos. My rabbit had unusual behavior as well recently and my antennas went up right away. In my rabbits case, she was fine. Sometimes they're just moody weirdos. As long as...

"Caging" a formerly Free Range Bun

I agree with blue eyes. Get an exercise pen. They can be as big and small as you want and it's cheaper and portable. You are doing the right thing by "caging" her when your at work.
