A towel or other floor covering is a must. I would recommend cutting a piece of rug with rubber bottom to fit the carrier (Walmart has kitchen rugs for $5) and then placing a towel or blanket on top of it. This helps prevent the towel/blanket from sliding around.

With wood stove pellets, they are sometimes treated with an accelerant which you do not want.

You should get one that is big enough for the rabbit to sit up and turn around. You don't want it too big though. In the event of an accident a smaller carrier limits the amount of space the rabbit is going to bounce around in.

The bunnies own my Florida room. It used to have furniture in it.

I was just going to put some hay in the carriers. Bunnies don't usually eat or drink when traveling. I was planning on watering them between legs. Take pictures of the carriers in your car, transferring them, etc.
